Homelab Hero · No. 007: your result
The tempting gamble, and it might even work — a finished resilver restores redundancy, which is the thing you are short of. But full speed is the heaviest read load the surviving disks will ever see, the erroring disk is the one you can least afford to push, and the photo library's last verified backup is three weeks old. If that disk dies mid-run, the pool goes with it and three weeks of photos are the floor of the loss, not the ceiling.
The lesson: Speed is not safety when a survivor is already erroring.
