Exactly right. The disk filled for one known reason: one container, one debug log, no cap. Stopping that container stops the writing, capping and rotating its logs stops the recurrence, clearing the runaway file returns the space — and the disk alert means next time you hear about it at 80%, not at a dead media server on a Saturday.
The lesson: Fix the writer, cap the log, clear the file, alert on the disk.
