Homelab Hero · No. 010: your result
A fair test — a tired UPS output or a bad outlet really can reboot a switch, and this is how you'd prove it. It earns the partial credit. But while you watch, the reboots keep landing on the whole house every twenty minutes, and if the fault is inside the switch you have spent the evening learning that with everyone's evening. The spare on the shelf would have carried the load while you tested.
The lesson: Test the power theory with the spare carrying the house, not instead of it.
